Required Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for:

3+ years in the UI/UX industry.

Need to have good design thinking capabilities
Need to have experience in building at least 1 application

Mandatory experience in Figma.
Need to have a good eye for details in terms of UI
Need to be a pro at Figma, with auto layouts and responsive design
Need some knowledge of Shopify & Wix

Need to have capabilities to lead a team of 4 people if given a chance during the tenure.

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

60000 - 90000 INR per month + bonuses

Mellow Designs is a branding and UI/UX design studio. We handcraft and grow brands with our services, which include designing logos from scratch to building a complete visual identity, website design, advertising, social media marketing, media planning, photography, and videos. We also provide consultation and strategic business development solutions for our clients.

We’re looking for:

• A skilled UI/UX Designer based in Bangalore (or ready to move).
• Has a good understanding of UI Design Principles, UX Research, and Design Systems.
• Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
• Ability to identify user needs through research, customer journey mapping, and competitive analysis, and apply the insights to the design strategy.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Miro).
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
• Should have a laptop ready.
• If you’re good at Graphic Design or Photography, it's a bonus on your salary

Your role:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers..
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design user interfaces for products, websites, and e-commerce sites.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Maintain consistency in design elements, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness and auto-layout).
• Understand user/client feedback and improvise on that.
• Build websites on Webflow, with amazing interactions and animations. 
• Visiting the client's place to plan the execution of the designs.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends. Sourcing custom & quality design references for the client should be a piece of cake for you.
• You will take the lead in handling UI/UX projects and the UI/UX team of 2-4 members.

• Figma
• Miro
• Webflow
• Shopify
• Illustrator
